here are some pictures from our trip to Buda, on the other side of the river yesterday. I finally felt like I was a tourist in a foreign country. It was beautiful, and so old.

So, here is a comment for your blog because apparently all your other friends suck way more than I do. Looks like you picked the right country to study abroad in, what with the castles and the crazy foreign language and places to GO where you can see and do things (that aren't next to, on top of, or pointing towards a snowy mountain). Take it easy on the hookah smoking, though... the last thing I need is a Simone with lung cancer. Isn't it weird how being in a country that isn't America suddenly makes eating at McDonald's not only feasible but comforting? Maybe that's just me. Anyway, I'm over 50% done with my time here in NZ, so it's fun to be reading all about your honeymoon stage (did you learn about that in orientation?).
BEAUTIFUL!!!! wish i could come visit!
